A few days ago I was talking to a family member. She's a ambitious lady. Relationship-wise I am her uncle, but she's elder than me.

But during the conversation she told me 3 lines that would make anyone (not me!) feel bad for her.

"No matter how much I have achieved professionally, I have not been able to do anything significant for my parents yet even at this age. I feel I am running in circles in life without making any transformation. I wish I could end this life."

But?

You need to CARE for people. You need to know THEIR goals. Their vision.

If they have none, help them get some.

Last night, I took my mother out because she wanted to go to an OLD shop where they have copper utensils. She didn't want to go somewhere NEW. Okay, mother- I will take you. And I did.

And then we went to a cafe and had some darjeeling tea. She also had a few golgappas.

While coming home, she got a new pair of shoes (I hope she doesn't beat me with that!) and then bought a lot of sweets too (I am the #1 eater anyway).

Take care of your parents. One day they will not be here.
